When
I was a grade 7 student, there is a teacher that I will never forget even if
she is already retired, she is Ma’am Pareja.
The
first day of school, I was so nervous that time and was curious if the teachers
are strict or not. I always ask my seatmate about it. Before, when I was in
grade 6, my teacher told me about ma’am Pareja, because she is also a graduate
of CNSHS. She said that she is strict but she is the best teacher. I was so
curious about it. On the first day, one subject and an hour left, they told me
that ma’am Pareja is next. I was so nervous that time, but I always think that
an hour is left and after it, I can go home already.
Ma’am
Pareja taught us many things. She always tells about her experiences that stand
as our inspiration. She persuades us to be a good student. She also taught us
many things about our lesson, she explains it clearly that everyone could
understand. Sometimes, I get or do mistakes, but that just explains us never to
do it again. We also do recitations and if your answer is correct, you will
have an extra grade. The best part of our lesson is sounds. We made improvised
instrument together with a song which will be revised to be an environmental
song.
Even
on a short period of time, we experienced what they experienced during when Ma’am
Pareja is still teaching. We are so lucky to have her as our teacher. Right now, even if Ma’am is retired, she will always be in our minds and
heart.
